April 9, 2021
Kindergartners in Vincent Amodio’s and Alannah Boccard’s classes at Deer Park’s May Moore Primary School recently embarked on a special art project, learning about lines and painting with primary colors for an art project inspired by Mike Austin’s book "Monsters Love Colors." First, the students were introduced to different types of lines and drew them with crayons. They then painted over the lines with watercolors to create wax-resist masterpieces.
