N. Babylon's Beccaris Named Rookie of the Year

North Babylon's Matty Beccaris has capped off a tremendous year as a member of the LIU Post men's lacrosse team by being named the 2013 East Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Year. 

Beccaris, a freshman who helped lift the Pioneers from a 6-6 record in 2012 to an 11-2 record this year, also earn first team All-Conference honors. 

Beccaris, an attacker, was LIU Post's most potent scorer, leading the team in goals (34), assists (14) and points (48). Both his point and goal total were ranked in the top-10 in the ECC.
