The robber is described as white, 6-foot to 6-foot-2 with a thin build. He was wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, a light-colored T-shirt and blue jeans. That description is similar to one of a man police are seeking for robbing four Suffolk County banks last month. Police, however, said Thursday afternoon it was unclear if the serial robber is behind the North Babylon robbery.
Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
