North Babylon Eagle Scout Congratulated
Babylon Town officials honored Matthew McGovern
Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer recently joined with Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez and Councilwoman Jackie Gordon to congratulate Matthew Avery McGovern for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in the Boy Scouts organization. A court of honor ceremony was held for McGovern at North Babylon High School. He is only the 49th member of Troop 399 to receive this prestige rank.
