North Babylon High School Names 26 AP Scholars

15 students named AP Scholars, five were named AP Scholar with Honor and six were named AP Scholars with Distinction.

From N. Babylon Schools: Twenty-six current seniors at North Babylon High School earned the designation of Advanced Placement Scholars from the College Board for excelling on the 2018 AP exams. The College Board recognizes several levels of achievement based on a student’s performance on AP exams. With 15 students named AP Scholars, five were named AP Scholar with Honor and six were named AP Scholars with Distinction.

The district congratulates the following students on achieving this honor: AP Scholars with Distinction Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more exams. Rene A. Amaya-Ayala, Evgenia G. Kennedy, Olivia R. Kennedy, John A. Rivera, Joseph A. Shepherd and Anna M. Veintimilla.

AP Scholars with Honor Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP
Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. Bayinah R. Agant, Astrid G. Bucaro, Elpida Manolas, Meaghan E. Sardi and Jason P. Valverde.
