It’s typically held each year at Belmont Lake State Park, but due to COVID-19 circumstances, this year it was put on hold. However, the Girls Cross Country Team and Coach Sarah Lambert designed a course and prepared for North Babylon to host the event, so it wouldn’t have to skip a year.
Four Girls Cross Country teams participated in the modified Babylon Bowl: North Babylon, Babylon, Deer Park and Lindenhurst. They ran the entire 5K on the North Babylon High School campus. The Boys Cross Country team and Coach David Stein volunteered to help direct the runners, set up and clean up the event.
