North Babylon McDonald's Damaged in Early Morning Fire

No injuries were reported.

NORTH BABYLON, NY - No injuries were reported in an early morning fire at a McDonald's in North Babylon, Suffolk Police said.

The blaze broke out around 4 a.m. at the fast food restaurant located at 1510 Deer Park Avenue near the Deer Park border.

The Deer Park Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the fire, which was brought under control in about an hour and a half. The extent of damage to the building is unclear.

The North Babylon, West Islip, Dix Hills and Wyandanch fire departments also helped battle the blaze, Newsday reported.

The Babylon Town Fire Marshal's Office is investigating. Arson Section detectives have determined that the fire does not appear criminal, police said.
