North Babylon Students Receive SCMEA Scholarships

Two students in the North Babylon Union Free School District have been awarded scholarships for summer music study by the Suffolk County Music Educators’ Association (SCMEA).
Congratulations to Michael Mazur, a fifth grade student and vocalist at Marion G. Vedder Elementary School, and to Amanda Quintanilla, a junior at North Babylon High School who performs with the High School Orchestra. Mazur and Quintanilla both received high ratings on their 2021 New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) auditions. The district is proud to see them being rewarded for their achievements and wish them the best of luck this summer as they continue their studies.
