Phelps Basketball Court Renovations Not Done
A Babylon spokesman said the makeover will be complete by summer's end.
Nearly four months after announcing that would pay for major renovations at the Phelps Lane Park basketball courts, town officials said the next phase is about to get done.
The funding, paid for by Sprite parent Coca-Cola, is going toward repairs to the courts surface, repainting and installing safety padding around existing lights.
The Phelps Lane courts were one of 21 that received grants nationwide from Coca-Cola.

Still in disrepair, however: The nets, which were ripped or missing, depending on the rim.
Tim Ruggeri, Babylon's director of communications, said all renovations on the courts will be complete by summer's end.
