After fits and starts, construction on the restaurant chain is well underway.
After repeated delays, Texas Roadhouse is finally being built on the corner of Commack Road and Long Island Avenue.
The steak restaurant was slated to open last fall, but contaminated soil slowed construction. Hurricane Sandy delayed the process further.
When complete, the Deer Park location will be the restaurant's second location on Long Island. The first is in East Meadow.
