Photos, Video: N. Babylon Loses Heartbreaker Playoff Game

The North Babylon Bulldogs boys varsity basketball team fought hard against a tough Walt Whitman Wildcats team Wednesday night, but fell 47-44 and were eliminated from the county playoffs.

The Bulldogs trailed the Wildcats by as much as seven points in the third quarter, but rallied back to tie the game in the final five minutes of the fourth quarter. The Wildcats, however, held off the rally and came away with the victory.

North Babylon ends its season 9-6 in conference.
