Police Make Arrest in Bay Shore Barbershop Shooting
A 32-year-old man was arrested on Friday.
A 32-year-old Bay Shore man was arrested Friday and charged in the shooting at a Bay Shore barbershop early Thursday.
James Nicholson is charged with first degree assault. He was being held at the Third Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Saturday.
A 30-year-old man was critically injured after being shot twice in the abdomen inside Headfellas Barber Shop, located at 1773 Union Boulevard, around 12:30 a.m. Thursday. He left the barbershop and collapsed in front of Domino’s Pizza at 1765 Union Boulevard. A bystander discovered him on the ground and called 911.
