UPDATE: Police: Man Arrested For Taking Photos of Boy in N. Babylon Restaurant Bathroom
Man arrested Thursday morning after public provides tips on the suspect's identity, police say.

UPDATE: After receiving numerous Crime Stoppers tips regarding the suspect’s identity, First Squad detectives arrested 28-year-old Luis Flores Junior at his Dix Hills residence at 11:06 a.m. Thursday, police said. Flores was charged with second degree unlawful surveillance–a class E felony–and will be released on bail, police said.

Police are asking for the public’s help to find a man who allegedly took photos of a child in the bathroom of a North Babylon restaurant.

Police say the man pictured above leaned over a bathroom stall and took photos with a cell phone of an 8-year-old boy at Hibachi Grill, located at 1114 Deer Park Avenue, on May 17 at 3:45 p.m., police said.
The man, who was at the restaurant with a woman, was described as between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10, about 200 pounds and between 30 and 35 years old.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
Police released the surveillance video below, which shows the man inside the restaurant.
