Police Offering $5K Reward For Info On Murder Of LI Woman

The 50-year-old woman was stabbed over three years ago and later died from her injuries. Police are still investigating her death.

WYANDANCH, NY - Suffolk Police announced on Thursday they are still seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person or people who murdered a woman in Wyandanch about three years ago.

Joyce Benjamin (pictured above) was stabbed on New Avenue, near Mount Avenue, on October 14, 2015 at 3:30 a.m.

Benjamin, 50, of Wyandanch, was transported to a hospital where she died on May 30, 2016.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
