Police Seek Burger King Robber
Video footage shows the man jumping over the counter of the fast food restaurant in North Amityville last week.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who robbed a Burger King in North Amityville last week.
Police say the man pictured above entered the fast food restaurant located at 1104 Sunrise Highway at about 7 p.m. on July 23. He jumped over the counter and demanded money, police say. The employee complied and the man fled on Bayview Avenue.
The robber was described as black, 30 to 40-years-old, 5-foot-8 to 6-feet and unshaven. He was wearing a white doo-rag, black shirt with white writing and gold-framed glasses.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
