Police Seek Man Who Used Fake Money At Home Depot

Do you recognize this man? Reward offered for information leading to an arrest.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who used counterfeit money at a local Home Depot in April.

According to police, the man (pictured above and below) used counterfeit $100 bills to pay for a drill and drill set, valued at more than $320, at the Home Depot located at 475 Commack Road in Deer Park on April 27.

The man was described as black and in his mid-to-late 20s. He fled in a late model dark-colored, possibly black, Nissan Sentra, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
