Police Seeking Bagel Shop Burglar

A man burglarized a local bagel shop back in September. Now police are looking for the public's help in identifying and finding him.

NORTH BABYLON, NY — Suffolk Police announced on Tuesday they are seeking the public's help in looking for the people who burglarized a North Babylon bagel shop last September.

A man broke into Wally's Bagels on 1137 Deer Park Avenue through the front door window on September 10 at 11:45 p.m. He then stole money from a cash register and a laptop before fleeing.

He fled in what appears to be a grey Jeep Grand Cherokee with another man.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
