Robber Hit Man With Baseball Bat, Stole Backpack: Police
The victim was taken to the hospital after the assault on Wednesday afternoon.
DEER PARK, NY - A Deer Park man was charged with robbing and assaulting a man in Deer Park on Wednesday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police.
Anthony Mancuso, 31, assaulted the man with a baseball bat and stole a backpack that contained a speaker on Old Country Road at about 2:07 p.m., police said.
The man was treated at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip.
