Sunday Update: Tanger Opens at 10

One day after the blizzard led to a Saturday shutdown, Tanger Outlets at the Arches is reopening.

The outlet center reopens at 10 a.m., according to its website.

Tanger closed early on Friday, ahead of the storm that dumped about 24 inches of snow in the area.

Anyone traveling from the east should take note, however, that the Long Island Expressway is closed from exit 57 to exit 73.

Many other retail shops in the area reopened throughout Saturday, as town plows cleared main roadways. Secondary roads were being plowed throughout the afternoon and evening. Babylon residents are asked to call Public Safety at 422-7600 if their residential road has not seen a first pass from a plow.
