Tanger Providing Gift Cards To Gov't Employees During Shutdown
Tanger is giving out free gift cards for federal government employees during the government shutdown.

DEER PARK, NY - Tanger Outlets has announced a special, limited time initiative to help government workers affected by the government shutdown.
From now through Jan. 28, Tanger will be offering a free $20 gift card for employees of government agencies and departments impacted by partial government shutdown including: State, Treasury, Justice, Interior, Agriculture, Commerce, Housing and Urban Development, Health and Human Services, EPA, Transportation, NASA and Homeland Security.
The gift card can be used at any store at the Tanger Outlets in Deer Park or Riverhead.

To receive their gift card, recipients can visit shopper services with their valid government ID.
The initiative has been made possible through the Tanger's charity program, TangerCARES.

"Through TangerCARES, Tanger Outlets is committed to helping those in the communities in which we operate," Steven B. Tanger, CEO of Tanger Outlets, said. "During this difficult time, we want to show support for government workers impacted by the shutdown."
In addition, government employees can use their ID at the outlets' skating rink to receive a free skate rental. Offer valid until the shutdown expires. One free skate rental per federal employee.
