car in the driveway and entered her house with her disabled child, police said.

The man left the scene in a gold, Honda Odessy, police said. (Suffolk County Police Department)

A moment later, a man was seen exiting a gold Honda Odyssey from the passenger side and smashing the rear window of the woman's car, police said. He removed the handbag from the vehicle and was then picked up by the driver of the Honda, police said.
