Town Of Babylon: Town Officials Celebrate North Lindenhurst Piston Knockers State Championship

The Town of Babylon proudly congratulates the North Lindenhurst Fire Department Piston Knockers on their second consecutive first place championship at the New York State Firematic Racing tournament this past August. 

Supervisor Rich Schaffer, Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez and Councilman Terence McSweeney recently joined with Suffolk County Legislators Kevin McCaffrey and Jason Richberg and former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York Ray Tierney at the Piston Knockers victory celebration to congratulate the team and present them with proclamations on behalf of the town. 

Special congratulations to coach Kevin Connell who celebrated 50 years of racing with the Piston Knockers this season.
