Two Men Shot at Deer Park Strip Club

Two men suffered non-life threatening injuries after being shot at a Deer Park strip club early Saturday morning, police said.

Andre Thompson, 26, of Brentwood and Jaleek Battle, 27, of Brentwood, were shot at Illusions Gentlemen’s Club located at 3 Saxwood St., #A, at about 3:25 a.m., police said.

The men transported themselves to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore. Police did not say what may have triggered the shooting and no arrests have been made.

The investigation is continuing and detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152, or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.

Illusions has been the scene of trouble in the past. Last September, a 20-year-old Wyandanch man was shot dead in the parking lot. Another Wyandanch resident, Victor Calderon, 21, was arrested in December and charged with murder in that shooting.
