WATCH: Park Employees Save Turtle Found With Hook In Mouth
A resident contacted the parks department after finding the turtle in distress on Monday afternoon.
NORTH BABYLON, NY - Two Town of Babylon parks staff members saved a turtle who was found with a hook stuck in its mouth on Monday afternoon.
The turtle was walking around the lake at Phelps Lane Park in North Babylon around 3:45 p.m. when residents found it and notified the Parks Department.
The two employees responded and removed the hook from the turtle's mouth.
