Woman Used Stolen Debit Card To Steal $12K : PD

DEER PARK, NY — Suffolk County Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman who used a stolen debit card to steal almost $12,000 from another woman’s account last year.

According to police, a person used a Deer Park woman’s personal information and requested a duplicate Chase debit card and the card was then intercepted as it was being delivered on October
28, 2021.

The same day, a woman used the stolen debit card to withdraw a total of about $12,000 from the victim’s account at two Chase Bank locations, 615 Grand Blvd. in Deer Park and 840 Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore.

The woman reportedly withdrew the money in October, police said.
