Woodstock 50th Anniversary Concert To Kick Off Next Weekend

COPIAGUE, NY - A special concert will be held at a Copiague park next weekend in honor of Woodstock's 50th anniversary.

The event will take place on Sunday at Tanner Park on Baylawn Avenue starting from 12 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The concert will feature Joplin's Pearl featuring Amber Ferrari followed by the band Half Step: Tribute to Grateful Dead and ending with Milagro: Santana Tribute.

The concert is free to all.

"We are excited to provide our residents with a show that is reminiscent of the monumental music event Woodstock was," Babylon Town Supervisor Rich Schaffer told GreaterBabylon.
