Wyandanch High School Students Chosen For NYSATA Art Showcase

Livelis Beato and Tatiana Pinedo have work on digital display for the New York State Art Teachers Association Legislative Art Exhibit.

Wyandanch High School students, 10th grader Livelis Beato and ninth grader Tatiana Pinedo were chosen for the 2021 New York State Art Teachers Association Legislative Exhibit. The exhibit is open for all NYSATA members to submit artwork from students in grades K-12, with just two submissions per teacher.

High School art teacher Ms. Jill Lewis submitted Livelis Beato’s piece, “Value Circles and Lines,” and Tatiana Pinedo’s work, “Royal Flush” and both were chosen for inclusion in the honorable showcase.

The NYSATA Exhibit is celebrating its 30th year and is the flagship event for Youth Art Month featuring the amazing artwork of New York state students and the importance of the arts and art education.
