Your Ideas for Former Mandee Store in Sunset City

With the former Mandee location in North Babylon's Sunset City shopping center still vacant, we asked Patch readers what they would like to see move into the location.

Melissa Ruiz: Trader Joes. The supermarkets around here are either too expensive or no selection. Trader Joes has a variety for a decent price.

Nicole Natale Cosentino: I'd like to see anything more high end than Pay Half. It will bring in more business to the local shops and it improves the shopping center.

Glenn Calautti: Dunkin Donuts! So I don't have to cross the street

Dave Favreau: Don't you think there's enough retail stores on DPA? Why not do something to benefit the community, how about an outreach program or a volunteer hub to help those less fortunate? I think it's time to downsize some of the retail in our towns, and reclaim that small town camaraderie.
