75-Year-Old Brooklyn Woman Fatally Hit By Cadillac, Police Say

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — A 75-year-old woman died after she was hit by a Cadillac on a Brooklyn street last week, said police.
Lucille Raphael, 75, was walking near Utica Avenue and Avenue L at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday when she was struck by a 2016 Cadillac CTS that was backing up, according to police.
The 71-year-old driver first slammed into a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox on Utica Avenue then, after hitting Raphael, he crashed into a parked 2008 Audi Q7, police said.

Emergency responders rushed Raphael, whose leg was badly injured, to Kings County Hospital, where she died the next day, police said.
The Cadillac driver was not injured in the crash and had not been arrested as of March 21, according to police.

Raphael was a resident of Fort Greene in Brooklyn, said police.
