Here are the top three stories today in Ditmas Park-Flatbush:

  1. Meet the Brooklyn Mavens, two born-and-raised Brooklyn influencers (one from East Flatbush), with a large social media following. Their mission is to shout out little-known landmarks and small businesses. (Brooklyn Magazine)
  2. After two Anti-semitic attacks in and close to Flatbush over the weekend, Mayor Eric Adams said "We won't let this vicious hatred go unanswered in our city." The Antidefamation League is offering a $5,000 reward for anyone with information regarding a perpetrator, who was caught on video. (CBS New York)
  3. A new exhibit about designer and artist Virgil Abloh is set to open at the Brooklyn Museum this summer. The Chicago-based artist was the first Black menswear designer for Louis Vuitton. His own brand is called Off-White. Abloh died of a rare form of cancer at 41 in November. (Brooklyn Reader)
