Apartment Building Going Up Near Brooklyn College: City Records
A six-story building with apartments and commercial space is going up on Nostrand Avenue near Brooklyn College, city records show.

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — A new six-story apartment building is slated to go up on an empty lot near Brooklyn College, city records show.
Developers filed plans to build a 38-unit apartment at 2251 Nostrand Ave. on Tuesday, according to Department of Buildings records.
The 62,000-square-foot building will be divided almost equally between a 30,008 square feet of residential space and 31,527 square feet of commercial space — there will also be 424-square-foot community facility, records show.

The building will stand about two blocks from Brooklyn College and the Flatbush Avenue 2 and 5 trains station.
The developers are A&H Acquisitions, Meral Property Group and Joyland Group, according to a Real Deal report, which also noted that the building will go up on a site that was once a Hess gas station.
