Coney's Friday Night Fireworks (Video) & Denny's Ice Cream

What can be better than fireworks and ice cream, not much for some of us. And Coney Island is the place to go every Friday night, until August 31st, to fulfill your fireworks jones and get away from the heat. And don't forget all those crazy rides at Luna Park. It's probably better to go in the evening and not stand in boiling heat to wait for the rides. They do have own water ride as well to cool you down in a hurry. But my favorite after the fireworks was going to Denny's Ice Cream Shop on Surf Avenue and getting soft ice cream twist combination of banana and pistachio or chocolate and vanilla. This place has been here for years and totally old school. Definitely worth the trip after the fireworks.
