Film Review: THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE

A neighbor shares her review of an exceptional documentary The Human Experience made by two young Brooklyn filmmakers.

The Human Experience is a home grown documentary made by two young Brooklyn brothers who live in a half way house for juveniles without homes, that set off on an adventure to find the meaning of life, which had eluded them both until now. Their travel choices to seek their goal take them and ourselves to places not normally travelled by most, on a journey of self discovery as we open our perceptions to a better understanding about people and places that are different from our own. This film should be a must for young people asking the big question “Why am I here and where do I belong?” It helps to put into perspective what is truly important in life.  -Raquel Irizarry

(Excerpt from Wikipedia)Harriet Yahr of indieWire called it, "A doc with so much heart in the right place."[2] Alicia Colon, writer for the Irish Examiner and NYSUN.com of the described The Human Experience as, "Inspiring... an affirmation of what binds all of us around the world-our humanity."[3]
