1. Thai Richards, a Brooklyn-based runner, is on a mission to change people's conceptions of the relationship between cannabis and health. "Running is beyond racing, it's been my therapy since a youth. Running along with cannabis helped me mend my emotions, helped me gain self control and gave me insight to the power of my mind," he shared on Instagram. 2. An Afro-dance festival is coming to Brooklyn, starting today and lasting through the end of March. There are lots of ways to learn some dance moves, both in-person in Bed-Stuy and online from your home. (Brooklyn Reader)
3. A federal probe was launched into allegations of anti-Semitic harassment at Brooklyn College. Jewish students on the campus alleged that they were discriminated against by both teachers and peers, and one characterized the situation as so bad it led them to drop out. (The Forward)
