There's been some activity in the storefront next to Picket Fence that's set to house a well-reviewed Filipino restaurant moving from SoHo, and a neighbor noticed the announcement on their website:
Early next year, we will start an exciting and fun new chapter in our lives: a new and smaller restaurant called PURPLE YAM in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn.
The December 15 issue of NEW YORK magazine called Ditmas Park the New San Francisco.
Well, nothing can be like San Francisco, but Ditmas Park is a sweet & lovely neighborhood and we are excited to be part of the mix there and hope we can be of service to all our new friends we will meet over there along with our dear friends from Cendrillon.
