More than a dozen Crips were rounded up in a mass arrest in East Flatbush early on Thursday, NBC and ABC are reporting.
It’s unclear exactly how many alleged gangsters were arrested. But police sources tell both news outlets that it was a joint operation with the FBI and that the suspects were running a drug and gun ring out of East Flatbush, near Linden Boulevard and New York Avenue.
According to NBC, they were wanted on a ”bevy of charges related to shootings, violent robberies and drug dealing in the neighborhood.”
