Son Kills Dad With Knife in Flatbush, Police And Reports Say

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — A man killed and nearly decapitated his father with a knife inside a Flatbush apartment, police and reports said.

Tymear Jones, 23, was charged with murder after the killing of Troy Jones, 43, inside 1655 Flatbush Ave. The New York Post reported that the pair were father and son.

The Post said the man was discovered by Tymear Jones' grandmother, who lived in the apartment, at 10:35 a.m. Sunday. The newspaper reported that the two men didn't get on and frequently fought.

The 23-year-old was arrested Sunday night.
