Flatbush Teacher Arrested For Molesting 11-Year-Old Student: Cops
Daniel Santiago, 29, was arrested in Brooklyn Monday for sexually abusing a minor, police said.
FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN -- A Flatbush teacher stands accused of sexually abusing an 11-year-old student, according to police and reports.
PS 244 teacher Daniel Santiago, 29, was arrested Monday after he was caught inappropriately touching the girl inside the school at Tilden Avenue and East 55th Street, according to police and a New York Daily News report.
Police charged Santiago with sex abuse and acting in a manner to injure a child under 17.

Information about his arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal Court was not immediately available.
"This teacher was immediately reassigned away from the classroom when we were made aware of this disturbing allegation," said New York City Department of Education spokesperson Will Mantel.
