Gunman Arrested 18 Months After Flatbush Man's Murder, Cops Say

Robeirto Roberts faces a murder charge more than a year after 21-year-old Jeremy Germain was shot dead in Flatbush, police said.

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN -- Police arrested the suspected killer a young Brooklyn man more than a year after his victim was shot dead in Flatbush.

Robeirto Roberts, 40, was arrested Monday at 1:20 p.m. for the death of Jeremy Germain, who shot in the back near East 48 Street and Snyder Avenue on May 27, 2017, police said.

The shooter then drove away in a gold Chevy Tahoe on East 49th Street headed toward Tilden Avenue, police said.

Emergency responders rushed the 21-year-old, who had multiple gunshot wounds in his back and arms, to Kings County Hospital where he later died, said police.

Eighteen months later, police charged Roberts, of Brownsville, with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Roberts is slated to be arraigned in Brooklyn Criminal Court on Tuesday, court records show.
