Interfaith Peace Walk Sun. Jan 17th 4:30 Grand Army Plz
The "Interfaith Peace Walk for the People" Sun., Jan. 17th @4:30pm at Grand Army Plaza, to symbolize peace and unity between faiths.

The grass group Brooklyn Interfaith Coalition is inviting the community to come out to participate in the “Interfaith Peace Walk for the People,” Sunday, January 17th @ 4:30 p.m. at Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn. This walk is a direct response to the violence and hatred that has taken many forms in recent months. The walk provides an opportunity for people of faith, including those whose faith is faith of love and justice for all, to come and stand together and walk together in peace and unity with your neighbors.
This walk will symbolize peace and unity among people of different faiths and traditions, bonded by the trust in the ethic of love for our neighbors whoever that may be.
When: Sunday, January 17th @ 4:30pm

Where: Grand Army Plaza (Prospect Park entrance)
Program: Walking from Grand Army Plaza to Bartel Pritchard Square, down 15th Street towards 7th Avenue, right on 7th Avenue and making a right on Union Street back to Grand Army Plaza. (We will be singing and carrying candles. If you can bring your own candle that would be helpful, as there will be a limited supply)
