Married Flatbush Man Who Strangled Ex-Girlfriend Gets Life: DA
Rolanso Lexune was sentenced to 24 years to life in prison for murdering his ex-girlfriend at her workplace, prosecutors said.

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — A married man who strangled his girlfriend to death in view of her workplace surveillance cameras was given a life sentence, said prosecutors said.
Rolanso Lexune, 34, will spend between 24 years and life in prison for killing 25-year-old Deneisha Smith in the back room of her Flatbush office in 2016, the Brooklyn District Attorney announced Tuesday.
Lexune demanded Smith let her into her workplace — Bedford Technology at 2184 Bedford Ave. — the morning of Oct. 1, then shoved her into a back room of the store where he began arguing with his former girlfriend, prosecutors said.
