Morning Tip: 70th Pct Community Council Meeting

The 70th Precinct Community Council is holding its monthly meeting Wednesday night at the Flatbush Reformed Church.

According to the most recent CompStat numbers released by the NYPD, the 70th Pct. has seen more than an 11 percent decrease in crime through the week of April 8. (Check attached PDF for complete breakdown). 

The area has seen a drop in almost every major crime category, according to the NYPD's numbers. 

But there have been a few recent crimes reported in Ditmas Park, including on Saturday, a local band's and cops are searching for two men who .

The meeting will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the chruch on the corner of Flatbush and Church avenues. Come and meet members of your local precinct.
