TESTIMONIALS:“About twenty years ago I had made up my mind to quit dance. I was placed into the dance program of my Jr. high school because the art program, my first choice, was filled to capacity. During the first few days of school, one of my dance talent classmates asked me where I was studying dance. I told her "nowhere"; I was done. She insisted that I go check out her studio, Covenant Ballet. I told my Mom, who forced me to take a trial class despite my bitter complaining. I expected a bunch of nuns with sticks. There was no WAY I would go back to dance, and especially not under those circumstances.

“The trial class resulted in my discovery of two things: 1) there were no nuns involved 2) I could perhaps, maybe, just for a little while, stand just a little bit more dancing - because this teacher and this studio were, well, different. Twenty-something years later, here I am: still dancing. My son is now in his 5th or 6th year (I lost count!) as a student at CBT. Ms. Marla did not only teach me dance steps; she taught me to LOVE dance and to be an artist, which is worth so much more.” -- Jackie Burke-Montoya  "Not only were the classes affordable and the instructors talented, what I admired most was Marla's vision and passion in creating a dance academy that would inspire and cultivate the love of dance and provide top-notch professional training to its students."  - Denise Liu, academy parent  "Covenant Ballet provides a warm, supportive environment of learning, where the focus is on dance skill and expertise...I am impressed as to how the instruction is geared towards the needs of each individual student." -Arlene Ayoub, academy parent "How wonderful that you have succeeded right here in New York in creating the kind of place that produces the dancers that go on to professional careers as well as the studio that non-professional dancers enjoy and appreciate."- Sophia Fatouros, Faculty at the Alvin Ailey School & Dance New Amsterdam
