NYC COMPTROLLER SCOTT STRINGER ENDORSES

RODNEYSE BICHOTTE FOR STATE ASSEMBLY

 

BROOKLYN, NY – Today, New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer announced his endorsement of

State Committeewoman and District Leader Rodneyse Bichotte for the 42nd State Assembly.

 

“Rodneyse has long been a fighter for those most in need in her community,” said Comptroller

Stringer. “Whether it’s working to expand economic opportunity for all New Yorkers or ensuring

equal rights for immigrants, Rodneyse is a leader and a reformer who knows how to get results. I am

proud to endorse her for New York State Assembly and I look forward to seeing all she will

accomplish for her district and our City in Albany.”

 

Ms. Bichotte, has used her background in finance and experience as an entrepreneur to partner with

community organizations to help small businesses that are minority and women owned gain access to

available resources in the city as well as consult them on good business planning practices.

 

As an advocate for fiscal and economic equity, Mr. Stringer has also long stood side by side with the

Haitian community in helping to uplift underserved populations through various policy initiatives and

recognition events.

 

“Scott Stringer has been a true partner with me on issues of economic development, immigration, and

empowering women. I am honored to have his support and will continue to work with him when in

Albany to identify fair and equitable solutions that will address our city’s challenges.”

 

Like Mr. Stringer, Ms. Bichotte is committed to creating economic opportunity for New York’s middle

class and those striving to get there. They are both dedicated to helping develop and support minority,

and women-owned businesses. Mr. Stringer is working to further improve access as well as develop

new initiatives within the Comptroller's office that would increase minority participation in the City’s

procurement process.
