Police Seek Missing Brooklyn Teenager

Maat Peart, 17, has been missing in Brooklyn since early Wednesday morning, according to police.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- A 17-year-old girl disappeared from her Brooklyn home early Wednesday morning and hasn't been seen since, according to police.

Maat Peart left her house on East 37th Street near Avenue J at about 7:30 a.m. on March 6, police said.

Peart stands about 5-foot 1-inch tall, has a thin build, brown eyes and black hair, police said.

Police released photos of the girl on Friday and asked anyone who has seen her to contact the NYPD.
