Q Train Conductor Attacked At Brooklyn Station, Officials Say

Medics rushed to the Prospect Park subway station after receiving reports a conductor had possibly been stabbed, said the FDNY.

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN -- A Q train conductor was attacked, and possibly stabbed, at the Prospect Park station in Brooklyn Tuesday afternoon, officials said.

The southbound Q train conductor was attacked at the station near Lincoln Road and Ocean Avenue at about 11:55 a.m., according to the MTA and FDNY.

Medics, who responded to unconfirmed reports that the conductor had been stabbed, rushed the victim to Kings County Hospital in unknown condition, said the FDNY.

Delays are expected on the Q and B lines after service was suspended so that the NYPD could investigate, an MTA spokesperson said.

Service had resumed as of 12:45 p.m., according to an MTA tweet.
