Teen Abandons Injured 71-Year-Old Woman He Hit With His Car: NYPD

A teenaged driver hit an elderly woman with his car in Midwood, gave her a false name, and never called 911, said police.

MIDWOOD, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for the teen who hit a 71-year-old woman with his car, gave her fake contact information then left her injured and alone.

The young man hit the woman as she crossed Quentin Road and East 21st Street around 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7, police said.

The driver jumped out of the car and escorted the elderly woman home, but he also gave her a fake info, and did not call 911, even though the woman was injured, said police.

Police released photos of the suspect — whom they describe as an 18-year-old who stands about 5-foot-11 and drives a dark colored sedan — on Wednesday.
