Teens Rob Flatbush Cell Phone Store, Attack Employee: NYPD

Police are looking for four teens who stole from a Church Avenue cell phone store and attacked an employee from behind.

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — A teen attacked a Flatbush cell phone store employee from behind after he and three friends tried to rob it, police said.

The foursome strolled into Cricket Wireless on Church Avenue near East 48th Street around 3:55 p.m. on Jan. 23, police said.

One of the teens distracted the 48-year-old employee while another stole a cell phone from the security table, said police.

The employee tried to stop the group from leaving, but one of them attacked him from behind and punched him in the back of the head, police said.

The foursome then fled the store and ran west on Church avenue, said police.

Police describe the group as four young men between 15- and 18-years old, standing between 5-foot 8-inches and 5-foot 11-inches, and last seen wearing hoodies.
