FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — A Brooklyn dollar van led police on a high-speed chase through the streets of Flatbush as terrified passengers pleaded with him to stop, video shows.
“Please stop, please stop, oh god,” one woman cries out. "Stop the bus!"
Video shows the driver careening around corners near Utica Avenue, whizzing past stop signs and speeding the wrong way down a one-way street as a New York City sheriff’s office van makes chase on Dec. 3, according to a Department of Finance spokesperson.

The driver ignores pleas to stop from passengers, one of whom clutches a baby, for two minutes before he jumps out and runs away on foot with NYPD officers chasing behind him, video shows.
As the passengers stagger out of the Dollar Van, one woman who claims she is the driver's sister grabs a wad of cash which she doles out to a fellow rider.
When other passengers try to criticize her for claiming the cash, she replies, "This isn't church."
The driver has not yet been arrested but the investigation remains ongoing and, now that the video has surfaced, charges may be upgraded, according to the Department of Finance.
