WFMU to Broadcast Live from Castello Plan with Lucius Monday

Radio show host and long-time Ditmas Park resident Dan Bodah will be broadcasting live on WFMU 91.1 fm and 90.1 fm from Monday from 9 p.m. to midnight.

He will be joined by local band as well as Carter Thornton.

Bodah began to broadcast from the Castello Plan last month when he featured guests Fahey! and Spirit Family Reunion.

"I've been living in the neighborhood since the space housing Castello Plan was a shoe shop, and T.B. Ackerson's was an Indian-run laundry," Bodah said, who has been hosting his show since 2000.  

"When Ben [Heemskerk] opened Castello Plan and started hosting live music on Monday nights, it made sense to talk to him about broadcasting from there," he continued. "Ben has been very supportive of the idea all along."

The Castello Plan is located at 1213 Cortelyou Road.
